Weatherization Assistance Program-WAP

The Weatherization Assistance Program is a federal program that provides insulation and air sealing to income eligible clients. It is implemented through your local Community Action. Community Action Programs are local private and public non-profit organizations that were established as part of the 1964 Economic Opportunity Act. In Rhode Island, the Community Action Programs that provide free home weatherization include the agencies listed below.

Depending on income eligibility guidelines, Energy Geeks will connect you with the Community Action Program in your area. Community Action Programs will pay 100% of the cost for your home’s weatherization. Not sure if you qualify, give us a call and we will help you find out.

Energy Geeks will work with you to identify which Community Action programs you may be eligible for and assist you with the application process.
